In today’s world, more than ever, it is essential to understand and embrace the values of American constitutionalism, and to reintroduce it as a model for governance on a global scale. The Constitute Solutions Institute (CSI) is envisioned as a think tank with over 25 years of research on constitutional law, both within the United States and globally. This institute will help promote and institutionalize constitutional principles that foster democracy, stability, and freedom worldwide.

 

The United States, through its founding fathers, introduced the first true republic and the first written constitution—an extraordinary achievement that has not received the level of international recognition it deserves. As we witness a global era of rising authoritarianism and ideological conflict, now is the time to openly champion the values of the American Constitution, both domestically and abroad. This aligns with the spirit of the United Nations, which, in its charter, reflects the influence of the U.S. Constitution, seen in the opening words, “We the People.” However, this global constitutional movement needs to be strengthened and institutionalized, and where better to lead such an initiative than the U.S. Capitol, as the house of the people who initiated the first written Constitution.

 

CSI is a think tank dedicated to conducting research that promotes and institutionalizes constitutional principles essential to fostering democracy, stability, and freedom. We also offer actionable solutions to inform legislation and educate the public on these critical issues.
